Tasting Notes
First glance: It is a cherry red wine with a very high layer; a quiet glass, we can ntoice a complexity of aromas and an extraordinary intensity.
Aromas: Fruit and wood are assembled and memories of ripe red fruits, leather, toast, vanilla begin to appear.
Palate: Well structured and balanced. The integration of alcohol and acidity is excellent and a different aftertaste is appreciated from the classic Valduero range: it is the grape.
Pairing: Red meats, blue fish, cured cheeses and sausages.
History: With no irrigation or chemical fertilization and strict pruning throughout the year, this wine was hand-harvested early in October. The yield is three times lower than that of trellised villas, giving a three times higher quality grape. Each plant, each strain gives only one bottle.
